I long to go beyond the veil

To behold Your glory 

And forever hail

The King who will possess my heart

My soul, my body;

Everything to me Thou art

Look and seek

Ask and knock

Surely nothing in this world will block

Your love from reaching out to me

May the eyes of my heart finally see

The waves may crash

The fire may burn

But You reward those 

Who continue to yearn

You hold Your lambs close to Your heart

Because of Your care 

They will never depart

Now a song comes from Your mouth

Those who hear it 

Declare an end to drought

Streams of living water flow from within

With You on my side, Lord 

I always win

As time goes by and I’ve sung my song

A new one You’ll give me as I walk along
